MAY 20th marked the completion of 3 solid year’s worth of consistent dance parties. Most likely, you came to some, and heard about what you missed on the ones where you couldn’t make it. It’s amazing to think about how the beginning of NRFW were quite simple–in fact, it was in my living room at the riv where it all started. and now… now we dominate parking lots, pool sides, whatever we want. People even started using the acronym “nrfw” before I even thought people would be ready for it. AMAZING.

For all those who came out to this past month, thank you for thanking us for such a great party. If it weren’t for your positive attitudes, this sort of thing would be much less rewarding since it’s all for fun and not business. Props to the Riviera Apts for letting us use their lot; props to our djs Dennis Sorensen, Ricky Barrera, & Chris Ah Sue. on FRIDAY feb 4th NRFW will break in its fresh 2011 event strategy–starting it off with dj distortion factor’s NRFW premier. come take a fresh look at your favorite nightlife provider @ no room for wallflowers: dance like it’s yo job. we will have food catered [tacos and taquitos] to the first 100 guests, we will have a local favorite in the photobooth [josh rossi] throwin things down like you’ve never seen before [still free tho], and we will have a few other goodies that will let you know that NO ROOM FOR WALLFLOWERS KNOWS HOW TA PARTY.

We sure had a blast this past weekend @ No Room for Wallflowers: Your Mom Goes to College. Thanks to everyone that came. We had breakers, swingers and general cool people. If you missed it we’re sorry, I hope it was something serious cuz this party was sick. But in case you did miss it, our next one will be this winter. Hey everybody, first and foremost we would like to bid a fond farewell to our good good friend Emily Moss. She has been a pillar of dance enthusiasm to us all. And as she ventures off into the Chilean jungle we would like to remind all the single guys out there that she doesn’t leave for a couple of weeks so go get some before its too late.
